You might be doing all the necessary things needed to get your ranking up, but when you just start a blog on a brand new website, you won’t have any place in the ranking purely because you would need to keep building your blog over time. There will already be a handful of businesses that are seen as an authority which makes it difficult for you to gain authority because of similar pieces of content that are floating around.

When people look you up on social media and can’t find you then your brand does not come across as credible to your audience and competitors. When people can find you on social media and begin to follow you, they get a better feel of you and your brand. Keeping your feed updated and keeping it entertaining will get it more shares.
